WMnet Thinking Skills Project
All schools in the WMnet region can benefit from the Mindjet MindManger® software through their local LEAs and the West Midlands RBC. This suite of software allows teachers and pupils at school or home to create and share Mind Maps.

A Mind Map is a powerful graphic technique, which provides a universal key to unlock the potential of the brain. It harnesses the full range of cortical skills - word, image, number, logic, rhythm, colour and spatial awareness - in a single, uniquely powerful manner. In so doing, it gives you the freedom to roam the infinite expanses of your brain. Each school can apply for a free copy of MindManager Enterprise and the right to purchase further copies of Mind Manager Enterprise at a very substantial discount with free upgrades until the next major release. In return, each school must agree to take part in four brief on-line questionnaires about the use of MindManager in school, numbers of installations, etc. The personal details you enter will be held securely by the West Midlands RBC and will be made available to M-Urge (the distributors of the software) for this purpose. They will not be communicated to any other commercial organisation. You can also apply directly for a free licence key for your pupils' Mind Manager Smart software by contacting your LEA ICT advisor.

MindManager Smart
Product Licensing Conditions under the WMnet Project MindManager Smart is offered free to all schools and organisations under the control of the project that are willing to participate in 4 short surveys over a two-year period. The data captured by these surveys will be used to enhance future benefits from WMnet and MindManager. It may be installed on any or all of the computers within a school. This also covers shared computer or computers that are issued to children for use at home, laptops under school administration and in certain circumstances, where the local project controller or school liaison contact feels it is appropriate, on a pupil's personally owned home computer. All other licencing conditions other than those above shall remain unchanged from the original End User Licence Agreement.

MindManager Enterprise 2002
Product Licensing Conditions under the WMnet Project MindManager Enterprise 2002 is licensed under the standard Mindjet Licensing Agreement. This agreement allows the software to be installed on one computer within the school and one other which may be remote, at the teachers/users house etc, this second computer may also be a laptop computer controlled by the teacher/user. A single licence is offered free to all schools and organisations under the control of the project that are willing to participate in 4 short surveys over a two-year period. The data captured by these surveys will be used to enhance future benefits from WMnet and MindManager.
